I've been in and out of the LS for 40 years. Unfortunately, is appears that many don't trust of single males (understandably) and many assume if your over 45/50, your energy and performance aren't up to snuff (again, understood).
As such, it is difficult to reach out to many. It seems if you place the emphasis on these issues up front...your blowing your own horn and full of BS. I've seen it suggested to change your age (say 49) to allow more connections and put it up front that your real age is 56. To me this seems to be starting off on a dishonest foot. Would greatly appreciate constructive input and/or criticism from any and all.
